Carthage falls just short vs. Whitewater
Steve Djurickovic missed a jumper at the closing seconds as UW-Whitewater held off Carthage College 82-81 Friday in the Carthage Classic at Tarble Arena.
The Red Men played from behind most of the second half before tying the score at 62 with 9:23 left in the game, but Carthage was never able to grab the lead.
Djurickovic had a game-high 33 points for Carthage.
