Two injured, but no one arrested in fight
Kenosha Police were called to a report of a fight at a tavern early Sunday that resulted in one person being taken to a hospital but no arrests.
Officers were called at 2:09 a.m. to Nortap, 504 57th St., for a report of a large fight inside the bar and encountered a group of people in an argument on a sidewalk. Officers also stopped a vehicle that witnesses said was carrying four people involved in the fight.
A 33-year-old Kenosha man inside the car was bleeding from a laceration above his right eye and said someone hit him with a beer bottle inside the bar. He was taken to Kenosha Medical Center for treatment.
A 26-year-old Kenosha man, who was bleeding from his mouth but refused hospital treatment, told police he was inside the bar when he tried to break up a fight and was struck in the mouth.
Police reports said no one wanted to make a complaint about the fight and no arrests were made.
