Winter storm warning cancelled; conditions still hazardous
The National Weather Service in Sullivan, Wis., has cancelled the winter storm warning for the area.
The warning had previously been in effect until midnight.
According to the service, roads will remain hazardous in many areas due to snow and icy conditions. Temperatures are expected to drop into the single digits above zero. Wednesday night expect areas of blowing snow and a chance of snow before midnight. It will be mostly cloudy, with a low of 5 degrees. Wind chill values will be from -10 and zero. It will be windy, with a west wind blowing from 20 to 30 mph, with gusts as high as 45 mph. The chance of precipitation is 30 percent.
Thursday’s high temperature is expected to reach 9 degrees.
