A Kenosha woman rejected a plea offer Tuesday, clearing the way for an April 2010 trial to settle felony charges related to a relative’s death.
Kristine Mayle, 41, turned down a deal that would have saved her 15 years in prison, if convicted for her aunt’s death, opting instead to go to trial. Kenosha County Circuit Judge Wilbur W. Warren III set the trial for April 12, 2010.
