Southern Wisconsin in storm’s bull’s-eye
Deepening low pressure is on track to bring heavy snow and strong winds across southeastern Wisconsin Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday evening, according to the National Weather Service.
A strong low pressure system is expected to develop over the southern Plain and move northeast to lower Michigan on Wedensday. The track is expected to drop more than eight inches of snow in Wisconsin, the heaviest overnight Tuesday.
Rain may mix with the snow along Lake Michigan in Racine and Kenosha. Inland it will all be snow.
Strong winds are expected to accompany the snow, resulting in blowing and drifting overnight Tuesday and Wednesday with near blizzard conditions for several hours.
Both the Badgers and Golden Eagles.
