Paddock Lake Village Board votes to refinance debt used for west side water service
PADDOCK LAKE — When the Paddock Lake Village Board financed the expansion of water service on the village’s west side, it anticipated that planned residential development in the area would pay for the project.
But four years later the economy has withered, the developments never materialized, and the $580,000 loan taken out to pay for new wells and the extension of new water lines remains unpaid.
