Police Chief Brian Wagner said Michael Fulton, 35, of Kenosha, was driving a Ford Explorer southbound on 39th Avenue at 10:53 a.m., when he failed to stop for the stop sign at 93rd Street.

Fulton’s vehicle struck a Chevrolet Tahoe that was in the process of turning left from westbound 93rd Street onto southbound 39th Avenue. Fulton told police he did not notice the stop sign, Wagner said.

The driver of the Tahoe, Charles Lange, 65, of Pleasant Prairie, suffered a leg injury and was taken to Kenosha Medical Center. Fulton reported a head injury but declined medical transport, Wagner said.

Wagner said Fulton was cited for failure to yield the right of way, causing injury while driving with a suspended license, driving without insurance and a seatbelt violation. Lange received no citations.
