Danny Joe Brooks, 67, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 31, 2011, at Hospice House in Pleasant Prairie with his loving daughter by his side.

A memorial service will be held Friday at Proko Funeral Home at 7 p.m. on Friday, June 3, 2011. Interment will be private. A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 5 p.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Kenosha Hospice Alliance (10220 Prairie Ridge Blvd), Pleasant Prairie, Wis., 53158) or to the Anderson University General Scholarship Fund in honor and memory of Danny Brooks (1100 East 5th St., Anderson, IN., 46012.
