CharlesAllen “Chuck” Whisler

1943 – 2011

Charles Allen "Chuck" Whisler, 67, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, Sept. 23, while on a fishing trip in Iowa with friends. He was born in Carthage, Mo., on Nov. 1, 1943, to the late Clarence and Aileen (nee: Nichols) Whisler.

The celebration of Chuck's life will take place on Thursday, Sept. 29, 7 p.m., at Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home, 4600 County Line Road, with Chuck's dear friend, Rev. Scott Miller, officiating. Full military honors will take place following the service. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until the time of the service. Interment will take place on Friday, Sept. 30, 10 a.m., at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove. Memorials have been suggested to Family Fellowship Church or the Family Fellowship Church Farm Fund of which Chuck was an advocate.
