Mary Jo R. Kuhn, 70, of Twin Lakes, Wis., died Wednesday evening Sept. 28, 2011, at the Aurora Lakeland Medical Center in Elkhorn, Wis.
The former Mary Jo Robinson was born on June 9, 1941, in Bethlehem, Penn., the daughter of the late Donald S. and Madeleine Kunz Robinson. On June 17, 1967 in Skokie, Ill., she was united in marriage to Vincent R. Kuhn. They lived in Skokie, Ill., until moving to Twin Lakes 44 years ago.
Mary Jo was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church in Twin Lakes and a member of the Choir. She volunteered at Hillcrest Nursing Home and Lakewood School. She was an avid walker. She enjoyed square dancing, bowling and traveling.
Mary Jo is survived by her husband, Vincent; one daughter, Catherine (Steven) Gremo of Pell Lake, Wis.; one son, Thomas V. Kuhn of Twin Lakes, Wis.; three brothers, Donald (Judy) Robinson of Sun City, Ariz., Thomas (Cheryl) Robinson of Roselle, Ill., and James (Barbara) Robinson of Twin Lakes, Wis.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 3, 2011, at St. John’s Catholic Church 701 N. Lake Ave. Twin Lakes. Interment will be in St. John’s Cemetery. The Kuhn Family will receive friends from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the Haase-Derrick-Lockwood Funeral Home. Memorial remembrances may be made to the St. John’s Food Pantry.
