George H. Kuntz, 78, of Kenosha, passed away on Friday, Sept. 30, 2011, at his residence.
Born on May 28, 1933, in Milwaukee, Wis., he was the son of the late Frederick and Vesta (Key) Kuntz, Sr. He was educated in the schools of Milwaukee and moved to Kenosha 1972.
He served in the National Guard and later enlisted in the U.S. Air Force. After he was discharged, he moved to New Orleans and worked at the Café Du Monde for a few years.
On March 22, 1969, he married Patricia Mueller in Milwaukee.
Locally, he was in the plumbing wholesale business. He was also a member of the Teamsters Local 200 and was a former member of Wesley United Methodist Church.
George was active in the Boy Scouts and was a Scout Master for five years. He enjoyed woodcarving, reading, old movies, especially John Wayne and mafia, and music like jazz, swing and big band. He also was an avid Green Bay Packer fan.
Survivors include his wife, Pat of Kenosha; two children, Kathleen (James) Lyman of Racine and Jeff (Michelle) Kuntz of Kenosha; two grandchildren, Tayler and Sara; a nephew, Keith Fischer, along with numerous other nieces and nephews; and also his beloved pet, Harley.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Ellsworth, Oliver and Frederick, Jr.; and a sister, Ruby Fischer.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, Oct. 3, at Proko Funeral Home at 4 p.m. followed with full military honors. Visitation will be held on Monday at the funeral home from 3 p.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be appreciated.

Matilde "Matt" DeLeon, Jr., 78, of Kenosha, died on Saturday, Oct. 22, 2011, at Aurora Medical Center.
Born in San Benito, TX on May 29, 1933, he was the son of the late Matilde and Tomasita (Pequeno) DeLeon.

Roger C. Meade, 74, of Kenosha, passed away at his residence on Saturday, Oct. 22, 2011, surrounded by his loving family.
Patricia L. Rossow, 78, formerly of Kenosha, Wis., passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Oct. 20, 2011.

Tammy M. Stollings, 48, of Slades Corners, Kenosha County passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Saturday, Oct. 22, 2011, surrounded by her loving husband and family.
Jah'niya Jayonna Wright went home to be an angel on Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2011.
She is the infant daughter of Tanika Cooks and John Wright.
