June D. Barosko, 84, of Kenosha, died Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2011, at Manor Care.

She was born on June 26, 1927, and was the daughter of the late Daniel and Suzanne (Shagath) Stika. On Feb. 4, 1950, June married John M. Barosko. He preceded her in death in 1984. During high school, she was employed at J.C. Penny, later at the Great Lakes Naval Training Center. She was also employed at Irving’s Furs and Fashion. June was an active member of St. John’s Lutheran Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Susan; her brother, Daniel L. Stika; her grandson, John Nettles and her extended family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 7, 2011, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 3833 - 8th Ave. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be given to St. John’s Lutheran Church.
