Dr. Otto E. Minshall, 96, passed away Oct. 14, 2011, at his residence in Kenosha.
He was born on Dec. 23, 1914. On June 18, 1939 in Viroqua, Wis., Otto married Charlotte (Weber) Minshall. He attended the University of Wisconsin and Marquette University DDS, MS. He was an Orthodontist in Kenosha. Otto was a Captain in the U.S. Army Dental Corps., he served in WWII and E.T.O.
He enjoyed playing tennis and golf. Otto was a member of the first United Methodist Church, Kenosha County Dental Society, Wisconsin Dental Association, Wisconsin Orthodontic Association and OKU honary dental Fraternity.
Otto is survived by his wife, Charlotte Minshall; his two children, Rev. Alan (Edith) Minshall and R. Bruce (Fran) Minshall; grandchildren, Linda (Mike) Guinn, Debbie (Ron) Haley, Jill Minshall, Jay Minshall, Rahda (Mike) Walch and Rachel (John) Frizzell; nine great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
Memorial services will take place TODAY Oct. 18, 2011, at 11 a.m. at First United Methodist Church (919 60th St) a luncheon will follow the memorial. Interment will be at Veterans Cemetery Union Grove, WI.
In lieu of flowers donations to First United Methodist Church (919 60th Street Kenosha, WI) or Hospice Alliance would be appreciated.
