Michael E. York, 56, of Kenosha, passed away on Friday, Oct. 14, 2011, at his home with his loving wife by his side. Mike was born on April 28, 1955, in Racine to Harold V. and Rose M. (Peterson) York-Germinero. He attended Kenosha area schools including Mary D. Bradford High School. Mike married Sheena Musselman on May 19, 1994 in Kenosha. He worked for Jantz Yard 4 Automotive for 15 years. He enjoyed the outdoors greatly, especially camping, fishing, biking and he was an avid Green Bay Packer fan.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his step-father, Joseph Germinero; three brothers, Peter, Robert and Frankie York and his grandparents, Francis and Anna York and Peter and Alma Peterson.

Mike is survived by, his wife, Sheena of Kenosha; his step-son, Ryan Musselman of Kenosha; his brother, Daniel York of Kenosha; seven sisters, Donna Huber, Jackie Hansche, Judy Vargas and Brenda Otto, all of Kenosha, Terry York of Burlington, Cindy Piase of Ixonia and Sharon Mathis of Troy, Tenn.; as well as three god children, D.J., Sylvester, and Tyler as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.

A memorial gathering will be held at a later date.
