Armond Rotunda

1917 – 2011

Armond Rotunda, 94, of Kenosha passed away peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2011, at Manor Care Nursing Home in Kenosha. Mr. Rotunda was born on Sept. 5, 1917, in Gilbert, Minn., the son of the late Thomas and Nicole (nee: Chirello) Rotunda, and came to Kenosha as a young boy. He proudly served in the United Sates Army from 1942-1946, attaining the rank of Sergeant. He was united in marriage to Adeline Langenbach on Jan. 29, 1949, in Kenosha. Mr. Rotunda was last employed in the maintenance department of American Motors/ Chrysler, retiring in 1980. He was a member of UAW Local 72.

Mr. Rotunda is survived by his son, James Rotunda of Racine. He was also preceded in death by wife, Adeline; and his siblings, Dominic, Elsie, Frank, Glorianna, LaNeve, Mary, Orlando, Rose, and Tony.
