Lucille F. Frederick, 91, died Wednesday at Harmony Living Center in Kenosha.
Born in Silver Lake on Jan. 8, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Curt and Mary (Nienhaus) Luetten.
She attended St. Charles Grade School and graduated from St. Mary’s High School, both in Burlington.
At St. Charles Catholic Church in Burlington, she married Alvin Frederick on Feb. 16, 1946. He preceded her in death on Feb. 15, 2005.
She worked for a time at American Motors in the later 1940’s and later at B.C. Ziegler and Co. in West Bend for nearly 25 years.
They moved to Kenosha from Neenah in 1950 to raise a family where they were members of St. Mary’s Parish. They moved to West Bend in 1963. After her husband died, she moved back to Kenosha in 2008 and lived at Harmony Living Center.
She was a longtime member of the Young at Heart and Christian Women organizations at St. Frances Cabrini Church in West Bend.
She is survived by three sons, The Very Rev. Curt Frederick of Waukesha, Karl (Nancy) Frederick of Kenosha and David (Penny) Frederick of Milwaukee; five grandchildren Shelley (Joe) Saunders of Cascade, Wis., Karin (Chad) Niemuth of Sturtevant, Kristin (Joe) Davison of Stanley, Wis., Steven (Regina) Frederick of Somers and Jeff Frederick of Kenosha.
She is also survived by sisters, Evelyn Otto of West Milford, N.J., Jane (Chuck) Siegler of Batavia, Ill., and Rita Graul of Burlington, a brother, Roger Luetten of Burlington and sister-in-law Luann Luetten of Burlington, as well as other nieces and nephews throughout Racine and Kenosha counties.
She is also survived by eight grandchildren, Helena Saunders, Hailey, Emma and Alaina Davison, Audrey and Zoe Niemuth, Aiden Witt and Natalie Frederick.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Ralph Luetten and sisters Aileen and Mary Ann(Ray) Seidel.
Visitation is Wednesday from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at St. Williams Church, 440 N. Moreland, Waukesha with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. A luncheon will be served at 12:15.
Burial will be private.
The family thanks the staff at Clement Manor, Harmony Living Center and Hospice Alliance for the care and comfort they provided to Lucille.
