Frank J. Lentine

1932 – 2012

Frank J. Lentine, 79, of Pleasant Prairie, died peacefully in his home on Saturday, March 17, 2012.

Born in Chicago, Ill., on Aug. 10. 1932, he was the son of the late Andrea and Concetta (Costanza) Lentine. He was a graduate of St. Mel's Holy Ghost Catholic High School.

On Sept. 6, 1952, in Kenosha, he was united in marriage to Lucille "Lucy" Albano. They made Kenosha their home in 1956. She preceded him in death on Nov. 17, 1986. On Sept. 24, 1994 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, he was married to Lillian (Szikil) Gray.

He was employed as a machinist with Ladish Tri-Clover, retiring in 1993.

Frank was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church for over 50 years. He was a member of their Holy Name Society and enjoyed volunteering to work the many church activities. The Mt. Carmel Festival and bingo were his favorites. He was a talented cook and baker. His homemade biscotti were his specialty.

He was also a member of Knights of Columbus Council #973, Kenosha Moose Lodge #286, Maria SS Laurentana Society and the "Stink Club". He was a former member of the International Association of Machinist and Aerospace Workers Lodge #34.

Frank was a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather. His family meant the world to him.

Frank is survived by his wife, Lillian; his children, Connie (Jim) Alexander, Laura (Steve) Carter, Paula (David) Creech, Annamarie (Joe) Albright, Vickie Martinson, Richard Gray, Bill (Roberta) Gray and Scott (Sarah) Gray; his brother, Sam (Mavis) Lentine; thirteen grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and many loving extended family members.

In addition to his parents and first wife, Lucy; he was preceded in death by three brothers, Francis, Nick, and James Lentine.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, March 24, 2012, at 12 noon at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, 1919 54th Street. Private inurnment will be held in St. George Cemetery. A visitation will be held at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the Mass.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Malik Bandealy, Oncology Alliance Staff, Ruth, Sally, Carol, Rita, Lynda, Debbie, Jamie, Michele; Cardiac Rehab; Hospice Alliance, Inc.; and any other Angels who touched Frank's life.
