Anne Nerling

1913 – 2012

Anne Nerling, 98, of Kenosha died Wednesday, March 21, 2012, at Aurora Medical Center in Kenosha.

She was born on Nov. 1, 1913, in Chicago, Ill., the daughter of the late Paul and Catherine (Sweich) Owsichek. She was educated in the schools of Kenosha. She married William Nerling in February of 1961 in Kenosha. She worked in the office of Snap-On-Tools for 40 years, retiring in 1976. She was a member of St. Mark Catholic Church and Moose Lodge #286. Her hobbies were bowling and golfing.

Survivors include a step daughter, Betty Adelsen of Kenosha; a sister, Sophie Ellison of Kenosha; sister-inlaw, Eva (Peter) Owsichek; five step-grandchildren and two nieces, Ellen (John) Folland of Pleasant Prairie, Kathleen Ellison of Hawaii; three nephews, David (Hope) Owsichek of Racine, James (Cheryl) Ellison of Hazelhurst, and Robert Owsichek of Kenosha. She was preceded in death by her husband William, a son William Jr., three brothers, Peter, Andrew, Stanley, and a niece Sandra Lark.

Visitation will be Monday March 26, 2012, from 4-5 p.m. at Kenosha Funeral Services with a funeral to follow at 5 p.m. Burial will be on Tuesday March 27, 2012 at 2:30 p.m. at St. James Cemetery in Kenosha.
