Robert Rogge

Robert Rogge, Dec. 18, 1923 - Oct. 16, 2009. Passed in his afternoon nap to his' Cherokee teepee' after years of heart and lung complications. Preceded in death by his parents, Selma and Earl Rogge, and second wife, Joyce Rogge. Survived by his sister, Hertha (Hollas); her daughter, Judy (Dave Goggin) and their children; his first wife, Barbara Purtell and their four children, Cynthia (Steve Thompson), Christine (Wayne Kruer), Dennis Rogge, and JoAnn Rogge, four grandchildren; three greatgrandchildren, and his second wife's sons, Steve (Doria) Luedtke, Kirk Luedtke and her grandchild and great grandchild and his extended family at Shagbark where he lived 27 years.

He retired from McCormick & Co. as District Sales Manager, 25 years after receiving Honorable discharge from the U.S. Coast Guard as Seaman First Class (Radarman Striker) (Reserve) 1942-1945. He will be remembered playing his flute along with Frank Sinatra's "My Way". We miss you and love you Dad! R.I.P.
