Robert H. “Polock” Kuzik, 68, of Kenosha, died Sunday, Nov. 1, 2009, at his home.

He was born on Oct. 19, 1941, in Kenosha, Wis., the son of Henry and Jeanette (Lawdanska) Kuzik. He was educated in the schools of Kenosha. He married Patricia Sperry on May 22, 1967, in Kenosha. Robert worked for Johnson Outboard Motors as a machinist. He also drove bus for Laidlaw. His hobbies were fishing, making his own fishing lures, going to his trailer at Wisconsin Dells and visiting his grandchildren in Alaska and South Carolina.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia of Kenosha; five children, Deb (Mike) Nietupski of Racine, Jerry Hammersley of Kenosha, Bob (Ruthie) Hammersley of South Carolina, Dawn (Kenny) Wasson of Alaska and Mark (Jennifer) Kuzik of South Carolina; his father, Henry Kuzik of Kenosha; one brother, Gerald (Karen) Kuzik; two sisters, Carrie (Douglas) Bierne and Sue (Larry) Swaton; 13 grandchildren, Michael T., Pamela, Joey, Jennifer, Dennis, Michael R., Steven, Jeremy, Kassandra, Jessica, Rachael, Breanna and Aidilynn, eight great grandchildren, and a great friend to the family, Jo Jo. He was preceded in death by his mother, Jeanette Kuzik and one granddaughter, Regan.
A greeting time with the family will be Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2009, from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. at Kenosha Funeral Services with a memorial service to follow at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials for the family would be appreciated.
