E. Junior Bolding
1930 -- 2009

E. Junior Bolding, 78, of Pleasant Prairie, passed away Monday, Nov. 2, 2009, at the Hospice House.

He was born on Nov. 11, 1930, to the late Edgar and Dearcie (Ozbirn) Bolding in Mississippi. He was educated in the schools of Mississippi.

E.J. entered the U.S. Marine Corp on Nov. 7, 1951, and was honorably discharged on Feb. 5, 1956. He was a radio operator serving in Korea. He received the Korean Service Medal.

On June 29, 1957, he married Rosella M. Packard in Kenosha. She preceded him in death on May 6, 2009.

E.J. worked at Johns Manville as a superintendent of plant operations for 36 years, retiring in 1991.

He loved going fishing with his wife, gardening, working outside and working with his hands.

E.J. is survived by his daughter, Rhonda Bolding and her partner Gerianne Mazrim of Springfield, Ill.; his sisters, Bobbie Sue (W.T.) Mills of Zion, Ill., and Betty (Robert) Moody of Mississippi and his brother, David Franks of Mississippi.

He is preceded in death by his son, Larry and a brother, Ed.

Private funeral services will be held for E.J. on Friday, Nov. 6, with burial to follow at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to the Hospice House.
