Wiley Turner, Sr. passed away on Thursday, Oct. 29, 2009, at the VA Hospital in Tucson, Arz.
Wiley served in WW II and received numerous medallions. He worked at Firestone Stores for 30 years before retiring to Tucson in 1985. Wiley was a member of Coleman Chapel AME in Kenosha and Christ Kingdom Fellowship in Tucson. He was a loving father, an avid bowler and he loved the Chicago Cubs.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Dennis Arnell. He leaves to mourn, his wife, Amanda; nine children, Jack Perkins (Gwen), Linda Turner, Donnie Rose Smith (Willie), Jacqueline Cotton, Connie Lucy (Herbert), Wiley Jr. (Verhonda), Steven (Sherrill), Karen Turner, and Ralph (Marcia), 31 grandchildren, 56 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, a host of nieces and nephews and many friends.
Funeral Services are being held on Friday night (wake) at East Lawn Palms Mortuary, 5801 E. Grant Rd., Tucson, AZ 85712; 520-885-6741 and Saturday 11 a.m. at Prince Chapel AME 602 S. Stone Ave., Tucson, AZ 85701.
