David A. Tolstyga, 53, of Kenosha, died on Monday, Nov, 2, 2009, at Woodstock Health & Rehab Center.

Born on Aug. 26, 1956, he was the son of the late Edward and Marion (Engelmann) Tolstyga. He was a graduate of Mary D. Bradford High School and attended Gateway Technical Institute.

He was employed as an automotive technician with Pyatt Automotive in Bassett, Wis.

Dave will be remembered for the love and compassion he had for everyone, his easy going spirit and helpful nature.

He is survived by his fiancé, Tambra Szymczak; two sons, Alan and Andrew; two daughters, Chanel and Danielle “Nemo” Brewer; and his siblings, Paul (Teri Karaman) Tolstyga, Claire (James) McGibbon, Jeanette (Vincent) Chicoine and Edward Tolstyga.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, Nov. 6, 2009, at 1 p.m. at the Piasecki-Althaus Funeral Home. Private interment will be held in St. George Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Friday from noon until the time of the service at the funeral home.
