Elaine Pachol, 85, of Kenosha, Wis., passed away Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2009, at Hospice House, Pleasant Prairie, Wis. She was born July 18, 1924, in Chicago the daughter of the late James and Julia (Fletcher) Wistafke. She moved to Trevor, Wis., in 1967, residing there until 1995 when she settled in Kenosha. Elaine worked for Regal China as a painter, then for the Antioch School District as a Special Education Driver, and before her retirement, she worked at the Gurnee Walmart.
On Nov. 2, 1942, she married Edward Pachol in Chicago and he preceded her in death on Sept. 25, 2003.
Survivors include her son, Keith (Elizabeth) of Trevor; two grandchildren, Michael and Olivia; her brother, Barney (Peggy) Wistafke of Schiller Park, IL, and sister-in-law Marjorie Wistafke of New Lennox, Ill. In addition to her parents and husband, Elaine was preceded in death by a brother, Edward and infant sister, Yvonne.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 9, 2009, at the Strang Funeral Home of Antioch, 1055 Main St. (Rte. 83) Antioch, IL. Interment will be in Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Union Grove, Wis. Visitation will be from 1-4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
