Santos Gonzales, 82, of Kenosha died Tuesday Nov. 17, 2009, at Woodstock Health & Rehabilitation.
Born on Sept. 23, 1927, in Devine, Texas, he was the son of the late Santos B. and Juanita (Luna) Gonzales. He was educated in the schools of Texas. He was employed as a machine operator for asphalt paving companies in Wisconsin and Illinois. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Kenosha. His hobbies included traveling and hunting.
Survivors include four children, Santos Gonzales Jr., Yolanda Gonzales, Criscela Gonzales, and Elsa Negrete; his companion, Michelle Rock; a brother; six sisters; ten grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Viola Gonzales and two brothers.
A greeting time with the family will be held Friday, Nov. 20, 2009, at Kenosha Funeral Services from 10-11 a.m. with memorial services to follow at 11 a.m.
