Theodora E.“Dora” Przytula
1926 -- 2009

Theodora E. "Dora" Przytula, 83, of Kenosha, found her eternal peace on Monday, Nov. 16, 2009.

Born on Nov. 5, 1926, in Poland, she was the daughter of the late Jan and Stanislawa (Karpinska) Ejzel. She received her education in Poland.

On April 24, 1945, in Poland, she was married to Joseph Przytula. In 1949, Dora and Joseph made Kenosha their home. After 26 years together, Joseph passed away on Dec. 20, 1971.

Dora was a devout Catholic, and faith played an important role in her life. She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church and the former St. Casimir Catholic Church. Dora had a special way of befriending strangers and she would pray the rosary for many in their hour of need. She enjoyed spending time with her family, sewing, crafts and making Christmas cookies.

She is survived by her four children, Julie Bobeck and Diane (David) Voltz, both of Kenosha, Darlene (Danny) Cleveland of Toledo, Ohio and Anthony Przytula of New Berlin; a brother, Stefan Ejzel of Poland; a sister, Helen Miklasiewicz of Kenosha; five grandchildren, Scott (Kathy) Bobeck, Kristin (James) Nauman, Major Bryan "Boomer" (Kathy) Bobeck, David (Debbie) and Jacob Voltz; and 14 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Josef, Jan and Stan Ejzel; a sister, Janina Kunda; and her son-in-law, Dave Bobeck.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, Nov. 20, 2009, at 9:15 a.m. from the Piasecki-Althaus Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, 1919 54th Street. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Thursday, Nov. 19, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

The family wishes to extend a thank you to the Kenosha Hospital Critical Care Unit Staff for their special care and support, and especially to Jamie for caring for their mother like she was his own.
