1938 -- 2009

Caryl Jean Leable, 70, of Kenosha, passed away Thursday, Feb. 19, 2009, at United Hospital Systems St. Catherine's.

Born on Sept. 27, 1938, in Kenosha, she was the daughter of the late Roswell and Gwendolyn (McAllister) Marquisse.

On Sept. 30, 1978, she married Richard Leable in Waukegan, Ill.He preceded her in death on Oct. 27, 2005.

For 30 years Caryl worked as a nurses aide, retiring from United Healthcare Systems.

Caryl loved Bingo, her dogs and her wolf collection.She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.She took pleasure in traveling to the Wisconsin Dells.

Survivors include her children, Jeff (Rose) Herrmann of Kenosha, Terri (Terry) Mazzulla Sr. of Kenosha,Patti Trunnel of Bloomington, Ill., Robert Herrmann of Sturtevant, Wis.; eight grandchildren, Lynn (Jeff) Schroth of Kenosha, Terry Mazzulla, Jr. of Salt Lake City, Utah, CurtisRuskiewicz of Bloomington, Ill., Brandon Klockenga of Bloomington, Ill.,Corey Herrmann of Kenosha, Anna and Rhyana Herrmann of Sturtevant and Amanda Hermann of Bloomingtonand four great grandchildren.

Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Gina Herrmann; a brother, Ronnie Marquisse, and her son-in-law, Thomas Ruskiewicz.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 22, at 5 p.m. at the Hansen-Lendman Funeral Home. Private interment will be held in Mount Rest Cemetery.Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
