Jacqueline Marie 'Jackie' Rashleger, 53, of Anchorage, Ak., and formerly of Phoenix, Ariz., passed away peacefully at her home on Jan. 26, 2012, following a long courageous battle with cancer.
In keeping with Jackie's wishes, cremation has taken place. Services were conducted on Jan. 29, 2012, in Anchorage. A private family memorial will be held in Racine to reflect on the life and memory of Jackie.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2012, at St. Mark Catholic Church. Burial will take place in Mexico.
Gertrude E. Valentine formally of Kenosha, Wis., passed away in Paradise, Calif., on Jan. 29, 2012.

David J. De Seife, 68, of Kenosha, beloved husband of Beverly, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday morning, Jan. 31, 2012.
A memorial service celebrating David's life, with military honors, will be held on Saturday, Feb. 4, 2012, at 7 p.m. in Lord of Life Lutheran Church, 5601 Washington Rd. in Kenosha. Dave's family will visit with relatives and friends at a reception following the service. Private interment will take place in Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.

Frank J. Szymanski, 80, of town of Rome, (Nekoosa), Wis., formerly of Kenosha and Stevens Point, died Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2012.
Harley E. Shotliff of Bella Vista, Calif., died Oct. 29, 2011. He was born to Robert C. and Nellie K. Shotliff on April 4, 1919, in Wilmot, Wis.

Kathleen M. Piasecki, 48, of Kenosha, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2012, after a courageous battle with brain cancer at Aurora Medical Center.

Edith Ratchek, 92, Twin Lakes, Wis., died Jan. 27, 2012, at the Kindred Medical and Rehab center in Burlington, Wis., after living many years with “the illness of the long good-bye” – dementia. Edith was born in Edmonton, Canada March 10, 1919. Her family relocatd to Chicago, Ill., where she met and married James Walter Ratchek on Aug. 30, 1937. Jim and Edith lived with their three children in Chicago until 1955 when the family decided to make their summer cottage in Twin Lakes, Wis. their permanent home.
