John Cantrell

John Cantrell, 56, of Wisconsin Dells, Wis., died Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2008, as a result of a snowmobile accident.

Memorial funeral services will be held Monday, Dec. 29, 2008, at 10:30 a.m. at the Picha Funeral Home, the former Fedderly-Axtell Funeral Home, in Wisconsin Dells, with Reverend Steven A. Miller officiating. Visitation will be held at the Picha Funeral Home on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service at 10:30 a.m.

John was born Jan. 15, 1952, in Kenosha, Wis., the son of Henry and Jane (Rosa) Cantrell. He was a construction worker for Shaw Builders for many years. John’s most favorite things to do were spending time with his grandchildren and snowmobiling.

John is survived by his dear friend, Kathleen Cantwell of Mauston, Wis.; his children, Curtis of Hayward, Conn., Jaycey Cantrell of Neshkoro, Wis., Tato Rivera of San Diego, Calif., Michael Cantwell of Plymouth, Wis., Alisa Cantwell of Wisconsin Dells and Sarah Umfress of Middleton, Wis.; brother, David Cantrell of Kenosha, Wis.; sisters, Margaret Hannes of Somers, Wis., Colleen Kuevelbecki of St. Paul, Minn., and Colette Laudenbach of St. Joseph, Minn., and his nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Cantrell; and his parents, Vern and Jane Mattson.
