Naomi J. Reinhardt
1919 - 2008
Naomi J. Reinhardt, 89, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family and friends, Sunday, Dec. 28, 2008, at the Christopher House.
She was born on Aug. 16, 1919, to the late Joseph and Victoria (Kashuba) Palt in Kenosha.She was educated in the schools of Kenosha and graduated from Kenosha High School.
Naomi worked with children at Women and Children's Horizons and was a substitute kindergarten teacher for several years.
On Aug. 1, 1992, she married John Reinhardt in Illinois.He preceded her in death on Sept. 8, 2005.
She was a member of St. Mark's Catholic Church and sang in the Senior Choir.Naomi was a member of the Kenosha Woman's Club, and a member of the Schubert Club.
Naomi had a good sense of humor and loved singing.
Naomi is survived by her sons, Patrick (Kathy) Pearcy of North Charleston, S.C., Tim Pearcy of Kenosha; her grandchildren, Cheryl (Dwayne) Iley, Michael Pearcy, Christina Pearcy; her great grandchildren, Nathaniel, Evangelique and Malachi.Her dear friend Betty Lueck also survives Naomi.
Her sister, Ethel Palt, precedes her in death.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Naomi will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 31, at 10 a.m. at St. Mark's Catholic Church (7117 - 14th Ave.).Interment will follow at St. George Cemetery.Visitation will be held on Wednesday morning from 9 a.m. until time of Mass.
The family would like to thank the staff and her extended family at the Christopher House for the loving care given to Naomi.
