Playford V. Thorson III, 56, of Kenosha, passed away on Friday, Dec. 19, 2008, at his home after a courageous battle with ALS.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Dec. 27, at 10 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, 1803 - 83rd Street. Interment will follow in Green Ridge Cemetery.

A visitation for Playford will be hosted on Friday, Dec. 26, from 5 until 8 p.m. at the Piasecki-Althaus Funeral Home.
