Ramona F. Crandall

1928 - 2009

Ramona F. Crandall, 80,of Antioch, Ill., passed away Saturday, Feb. 21, 2009, at Advocate Condell Medical Center, Libertyville, Ill.

She was born Nov. 23, 1928, in Bristol, Wis., the daughter of the late Fred and Elsie (Greenwald) Paasch.

On Sept. 7, 1946, she married Jack H. Crandall in Wilmot, Wis.

Ramona was a devoted member ofFaith Evangelical Lutheran Church, and also served on the Ladies Aide.She enjoyed playing cards, crafts, cooking, and especially spending time with her grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Survivors include her loving husband of over 62 years, Jack; two children, Dale (Lynn) Crandall and Diane (Richard) Mueller, both of Antioch; six grandchildren, Todd (Brandy), Matthew (Cara), Dana, Tammy (Scott), Chad (Alicia) and Zachary (Carrie); 12 great grandchildren, Morgan, Max, Trenton, Gwendolyn, Rhett, Tori, Lexi, Nico, James, Amber, Bryanna, and Dean; a sister, Jane A. Krahn of New Castle, Del.; two nieces, Dawn Denman and Darci Bertelsen; a nephew, Dwight Krahn; and many other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a great granddaughter, Kayla Crandall, and her brother-in-law Gilbert.

Funeral services will be held at 12 noon Thursday, Feb. 26, 2009, at Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, 24300 W. Grass Lake Rd. Antioch, IL 60002, with visitation beginning at 10 a.m.Interment will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Antioch.
