This is in response to “Republicans just block health care reform,” who says Republicans are doing everything in their power to stop health care reform. This is simply not true. One Republican who is trying to push for health care reform is Paul Ryan, who has even drawn up his own bill.

Bottom line is that many Republicans want health care reform, they just want it to be done right. That’s why many are fighting the Democrats, not because they just plain don’t want health care reform, but because they want it done right. They want to make sure that the people covered under government run health care don’t pass on costs to people who are covered by private companies, which would probably happen under the current bill.

We should not be in a rush for health care reform but should take our time to make sure it’s done right.
