After seeing all the letters about Channel 11, I’m wondering why people are so upset about losing that one channel?
Why isn’t there as much uproar about the TV listings? We lost half of the day’s listings under the guise improvement.
Why is there twice as much space in the News dedicated to advertisement as news? Maybe there should be a name change.
Why don’t we get upset that a pound of prepackaged coffee is now 13 onces for the same price?
Why aren’t we calling the toilet paper companies and questioning them about the 1/2 inch narrower rolls of toilet paper for the same price?
It seems to me that the consumer is getting shortchanged at every turn and no one seems to care. Maybe competition would help. A second newspaper and a second cable company might change a few things.
