After reading that the Kenosha County Board of Supervisors voted to give themselves a raise (by increasing the percentage of their health care insurance costs paid by tax payers from 90 percent to 100 percent), I had a thought. Since the supervisors and all other elected officials of all levels of government are paid by the taxpayer, I suggest that they be the first to be enrolled in the soon to be unveiled public health care option. They could serve as a test group to work out any kinks in the health care plan before it is foisted, I mean offered, to the remainder of the public. Having a test group made up of our elected leaders would be great for the morale of our country and would show that they are willing to lead the way to better health care for all Americans.
