Our county supervisors have pulled a fast one on the taxpayers. Tuesday’s vote to subsidize all of the health insurance premiums for the part-time elected officials was passed 14-13. When many in the community are suffering job losses and cutbacks, increased premium participation as well as reduced benefits, our supervisors have the audacity to give themselves a huge “raise.”

I personally will actively work to have these 14 people voted from the board, William Grady, James Huff, Richard Kessler, Anita Farone, David Singer, Jim Moore, Jennifer Jackson, Dennis Elverman, Ronald Johnson, Gabe Nudo, Fred Ekornaas, Gordon West, Kim Breunig, and Mark Molinaro. I hope the community has a very long memory of this act of entitlement.
