The two-way All-State lineman projects as a center at the collegiate level.

“He’s a big, physical kid who played both sides of the ball in Wisconsin and brings a real attitude and edge to his game,” Minnesota coach Tim Brewster said on the school’s Web site. “We really think he has a good future.”

Players from 12 states are represented in the 2010 Gopher recruiting class. Thirteen of the signees are projected to play on the offensive side of the ball, while 12 are projected for the defense.

“One of the things that we wanted to do with this class was help our offensive and defensive lines,” Brewster said. “We really feel like we succeeded extremely well. We signed five offensive linemen at this point. We want to build the program up front.”
