Hartnell, Weber execute a rarity
The Commercial League at Sheridan Lanes had a rare double on Thursday night as teammates Derek Hartnell and Todd Weber both bowled perfect games.
Weber opened the night with his fifth career 300 game. He added games of 190 and 173 for a 663 series.
Hartnell fired his 14th 300 in his second game.
He also had games of 235 and 258 for a league-high 793 series.
Mike Geiger also had a 786 series on games of 254, 277 and 255.
n Banquet approaching: Tickets for the Kenosha USBC BA Hall of Fame and Tournament Awards Banquet are currently on sale at all local bowling centers.
The banquet is Saturday, Feb. 28 at the Italian-American Club, 2217 52nd St. Cocktails are at 5:30 p.m. with dinner at 6:30 p.m.
Gene Pobloski will be honored as the 48th Hall of Fame inductee in the bowling skill category and all 2008-09 tournament winners will be recognized.

n Hall taking nominations: The Kenosha USBC Women’s Bowling Association is accepting nominations for the Women’s Bowling Hall of Fame.
Submission papers are available at local bowling centers and must be turned in to Jan Wendt by Sunday, Feb. 1.

n Honors: Ethan Linderman bowled a perfect game en route to a 706 series in the Saturday Night Mixed Ups League a the Guttormsen Recreation Center.
Erica Rosales put together her first 600 series — a 636 — in the Slo Starters League at Sheridan Lanes. Rosales, who averages 156 and bowls for Rat Race Lounge, had games of 214, 268 and 154.
