Who do you think should be elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame?
The Baseball Writers Association of America will reveal its choices Jan. 6. The Kenosha News will announce readers opinions in Sunday’s editions.
Let us know who you would put in the Hall of Fame via e-mail at sports@kenoshanews.com, on our Facebook page or by responding to this story.
Sports Editor David Marran and sports writer Mike Larsen will discuss the topic on the “Sports Take” on Wednesday’s “Weekday Report,” which can be seen at kenoshanews.com.
A look ahead/back
The Kenosha News sports department’s series of columns continues Tuesday with Andrew Horschak’s take on 2008 and preview of 2009.
Not to give too much away but among the topics Horschak touches on Bradford football, Bradford tennis, Christian Life basketball and the Milwaukee Brewers.
The series concludes Thursday.
UW-P out for revenge
The UW-Parkside men's basketball team will close out 2009 with a rematch. The Rangers will host Upper Iowa, a team it lost to in November, at 7 p.m. The Rangers will try to avenge a 20-point loss Upper Iowa pinned on them in Fayetta, Iowa on Nov. 23. Coach Luke Reigel's team has won three in a row to improve to 6-4.
The women’s team got the night started by hosting Indiana Northwest.
Kenosha News sports writer Jeffrey Zampanti will be on hand to document both games.
Tremper seeking win No. 1
The Tremper boys basketball team is hoping there is no place like home for the holidays. The Trojans will be seeking their first win of the season at 6 tonight when they host Menasha in the first round of the Tremper Tournament.
Kenosha News sports writer Andrew Horschak will be present to cover the game.
