Indian Trail graduate Andre Brown was rewarded for his breakthrough season.
The UW-Whitewater junior guard was one of 10 players named first-team All-Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, the league announced Wednesday.
One of three UWW players honored, it is the first time Brown earned All-WIAC recognition.
A starter in 25 games, Brown averaged a team-high 15.2 points in 31.3 minutes per contest. He also contributed 3.6 rebounds, 2.5 assists and led the Warhawks with 37 steals.
In conference play, he ranked second in scoring average (16.5 ppg), tied for second in steals (21), third in field-goal percentage (.509), fourth in assists (38) and fifth in minutes per game (32.6).
Ranked third in the country in early December, Whitewater finished 6-8 in the WIAC and 16-10 overall. The Warhawks lost in the first round of the WIAC Tournament to UW-River Falls.
