Jerry Streich bowled two 300 games, the latter capping a career-high 858 series, in the KSBA Senior-Regular Scratch Doubles Tournament on Sunday at Sheridan Lanes.

Streich and teammate Dave Sjuggerud lost in the first round of match play and finished 11th overall out of 46 teams.

Wally Pekovich also rolled a 300 game in the qualifying portion of the tournament, which featured one bowler age 50 or older and another under 50 on each team.

The Milwaukee-based duo of Tony Roventini and Ben Hoefs defeated top seeds Ron Axberg and Dean Bachman 548-465 for the team title.

n Mastronardi perfect: Also at Sheridan Lanes, Rob Mastronardi II opened with a perfect game and finished with a 747 series in the Sunday A.M. League. Mastronardi, who bowls for Sheridan Lounge, also had games of 267 and 180.n Mertins best: Kris Mertins fired a league-high 735 series in the Ladies Lakeshore Classic League. She bowls for Northern Lights.n Greenwood’s first 700: At Guttormsen Recreation Center, Ryne Greenwood, 16, put together his first 700 series — a 707 — in the Monday High School Pin Busters League. He rolled games of 213, 257 and 237.n Yee’s tops: Yee’s Oriental Inn won the first third championship in the Recreation League at Sheridan Lanes. Bowling for Yee’s were Willy Yee, Kevin Nichols and Gene Pobloski.
