Trojan tennis on title track
Just one week after claiming the regular season Southeast Conference championship, the Tremper girls tennis team is one step closer to securing the SEC Tournament title as well.
The Trojans won all 11 of their matches in the opening rounds of the rain-shortened SEC Tournament Thursday at numerous local courts. The two-day event was suspended late in the day and will continue 7 a.m. Saturday at Bradford and Tremper.
“It went well,” Tremper co-coach Tom Pacetti said. “We are right where we need to be.”
