The postseason football honors keep rolling in for Bradford’s Mitchell Ziegler and Tremper’s Zac Epping.

Three days after receiving first-team All-State honors by the Wisconsin Football Coaches Association, the senior duo picked up first-team All-State honors by the Associated Press on Monday.

Ziegler was one of three wide receivers/tight ends named to the first team, while Epping was one of five offensive linemen named to the first team.

Bradford junior quarterback Gino DeBartolo and Bradford senior linebacker Brad Slomkowski were among the 45 players tabbed as honorable mention. Both also received All-State honors by the WFCA.

Edgar senior quarterback Justin Sinz, who recently received a scholarship offer from Purdue, was picked as the Player of the Year and Tom Aldrich of Burlington Catholic Central was named the Coach of the Year by a statewide panel of media members.

The team includes a female player, Waunakee’s Kassy McCarthy, a second-team selection as a kicker.
