Catching up after a day of rest

Monday, July 20th, 2009

After taking Sunday to wind down — I’m sure everyone who was there would agree that a little bit of R&R after four days of Thudner is needed — we’re back to fill out our recap, sort through our photos, track down some folks from whom we want some blog perspectives (I’ve heard *someone* got to touch Tim McGraw’s leg…) and everything else.

And, what we really want is to hear from you, the fellow Country Thunder attendee: what you liked, loved and want so more of.  Also, what you don’t want to see again next year, or what you missed from years past.

Leave us a comment here or tweet us @KenoshaThunder!

Back in a few!

We’re up an running today, Day Two!

Check out the twitter stream – lots of updates there.

We should find out who our meet and greets and onstage seats are for today’s giveaways mid-afternoon today, so be sure to follow us on your phone, either via twitter or the mobile site. (click on the Country Thunder 2009 Live banner at the top)

Lots of new photos up on flickr, too! More later…

Tracy Lawrence up next

Wednesday, July 15th, 2009

Tracy Lawrence is up next. We hooked up people for meet and greet and 2 VIP on stage seats for this one.

Check out our tent or our mobile web site to win tomorrow and the rest of the weekend.

Our flickr page has photos of the winners, too, so you can be envious.

It’s almost 2!

We’re waiting on our press creds right now, but the booth is setup. We’re on the fly and making adjustments, but are ready to rock!!

On site

Tuesday, July 14th, 2009

Just got into the grounds about fifteen minutes ago. Lots of vendors setting up. So far the Army and Copenhagen seem to have the most elaborate setup. I’m sure they’ll draw some crowds.

It’ll be interesting to see all the different setups at booths.

Stage is coming together – and is massive, as usual.

I’ll try to snap and post some pics when I have a chance. I have to make sure the big Kenosha News Media Circus tent gets up!

On my way!

Tuesday, July 14th, 2009

I’ve just finished up the last-minute design work and am dropping off the dog. Then, out to Twin Lakes to scout the vendor grounds, VIP and media check-in.

I’ve got a camera in tow and the iPhone to blog from – check out our Twitter for more updates, too.

Officially excited!
