Name: Colleen Weaver

Gender: Female

City of residence: Somers

Hometown: Newton Falls, Ohio

Education: Some college

Age: 50

Occupation: Records department supervisor for Kenosha City/County Joint Services

What is your ideal job? Stay at home/work from home mother who writes liberal editorials for the Kenosha News.

What is the coolest/strangest thing about your family? We’re just as normal/abnormal as any other family.

Any pets? A cat, Abbott Hoffman, and a dog, Angel Zevon Do you sing in the shower? No, I would not do that to my family What are your favorite songs? Rufus Wainwright’s “Natasha” or Steve Earle’s “Pilgrim”

What are your favorite reads? By far, “Lonesome Dove.” Recommended by Gino, from Rumors, it was the book by which all others are judged and fall short.

How often do you read the paper? Every single morning, first thing, along with the coffee

What are your favorite TV shows? I hate to admit this, but “The Apprentice” when it is on. I like lots of shows on Bravo.

What TV shows are you embarrassed to admit that you watch? WWE “Smackdown” and “Raw”

What is your favorite movie? “Stuart Saves his Family” is a Christmas Eve tradition.

What is your dream job? Philanthropist.

What are you most likely to be searching for when you raid the fridge after midnight? Some exotic flavor of ice cream.

If you were on a reality television show, which would you want it to be and why? That’s a tough one, I don’t know. I have no talent for cooking, designing, singing, dancing or stabbing people in the back. I couldn’t compete and would be the first to leave.

What are your favorite sports? I love the Cleveland Browns and watching any/all football games when I can.

Any hobbies? Reading, baking, crossword puzzles and competitive trivia

If you could be any superhero, what powers would you have? I would want to see into the future.

Do you consider yourself religious? Not religious as much as spiritual — someone said, “I am not a human having a spiritual experience, but a spirit having a human experience.”

What is your favorite place to go in Kenosha County? We like the trail/ beach along Lake Michigan just south of Carthage College. It’s close to home, and how lucky are we?

What’s your favorite ethnic food? Pizza? Is that ethnic?

What is the best advice you have ever received? Stay calm.

Do you believe in ghosts? I had a child spirit living with me in southern Georgia.

Which summer festival was your favorite? Why? The Kenosha County Fair — you see lots of folks you haven’t seen all year! (And there’s nothing like the aroma of those barns!)

If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be? Peanut butter. I’m a big fan.

What was your favorite grade in school and why? Eighth grade — we had a blast! I can’t remember one bad thing about eighth grade, and I even appreciated that then.

What is your pet peeve? Drivers who cruise in the lefthand lane. There oughtta be a law.

What is your worst habit? Egads! Smoking!
