Dylan Anderson took the loss, as he allowed seven hits, four walks and struck out one in 31/3 innings. All six runs charged to Anderson were unearned, as the Falcons committed six errors.
St. Joseph 7, Dominican 3
The visiting Lancers overcame a 3-1 deficit with a four-run fifth inning en route to the Metro Classic Conference victory.
Max McCarville had two hits and an RBI, while Matt Hill had two hits and two runs scored to lead St. Joseph. Andrew Setter earned the win, as he fanned three batters in three innings. Matt Hill walked one and struck out three in four innings.
“Throughout this young season, the players have been extremely resilient and never get down when things are not going our way, and tonight was no different,” St. Joseph coach Joe Gricar said. “I am very proud of the effort the team put forth tonight.”
