SECURITY OFFICER Part-time position available for a Security Officer at the Kenosha County Job Center/Human Services Building. Position will ensure and provide direct and related security services and conduct investigations as necessary. Responsibilities include providing emergency response to situations involving safety and medical, patrolling the building and grounds and actively intervening in situations that may be potentially harmful or disruptive. Position requires a keen attention to detail, knowledge of safety related practices and procedures, and use of effective de-escalation techniques. Other duties include completing incident reports, meeting attendance and customer service. High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum of three years security experience or experience working as a public safety officer (security or police science background preferred), with developed soft skills to work within a public contact environment is essential. Certification in CPR, First Aid, AED and bloodborne pathogens is necessary and can be obtained/renewed upon employment. Crisis Intervention Partner training must be obtained within 12 months of employment. Professional communication skills and friendly demeanor are required.
