Lifelong Kenosha residents Ralph and Rosie (Cesaretti) Christman will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary with a family dinner at the Italian American Club. The Bradford High School sweethearts were married at Holy Rosary Church, where they are still members, on Nov. 21, 1953.
Ralph retired in 1990 as superintendent of assembly for American Motors and Chrysler after 39 years of service. He is a member of Holy Rosary Holy Name and the Knights of Columbus. Rosie worked at Holleb’s until her retirement in 1995 and is a member of the Holy Rosary Altar Society.
The Christmans have four children, all of Kenosha: Sharon (Sam) Perry, Steven (Brenda) Christman, Scott (Debra) Christman and Shawn (Paul) Salva; 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Ralph and Rosie believe the key to a lasting relationship is “faith in God, love for each other and our family, and most of all, respect for each other.”
