Lifelong Kenosha residents William and Elsie (Cosentino) Scuglik will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary with a family gathering at their home.
The couple met when they both worked at Vogue Theater and were married at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church on Sept. 11, 1948.
Bill retired as a supervisor for AMC in 1982. His interests include playing bridge and solving jigsaw and crossword puzzles. Elsie retired in 1986 from American State Bank.
The Scugliks have one daughter, Sharon (Peter) Simo of Kenosha, and one grandchild.
The avid readers are members of St. Anthony’s Church and say true love and complete trust in God are key to a successful and lasting relationship.
