Sarah Mattie and Nicholas Brickert, both of Pleasant Prairie, Wisc., were married on April 12, 2019, at the Delta Hotel by Marriott in Racine, Wisc. William Haag, cousin to the bride, preformed the 4 p.m. ceremony for the daughter of William and Diana Haag of Pleasant Prairie, and the son of Kathy Brickert of Oswego, Ill., and the late John Brickert.
The bride graduated from Tremper High School and she is attending Gateway Technical College working towards a degree in administration. She is employed with Aurora Healthcare in Kenosha, Wisc.
Her groom graduated from Oswego High School in Oswego, Ill., and Western Illinois University with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. He is employed with Uline in Pleasant Prairie.
The matron of honor was Christine Rose, and the bridesmaids were Alycia Goar, Kristin McCoy and Hailey Woeste. Faith Brickert was the flower girl.
The best man was Ryan Nalezny and Colin Reynolds, Michael Brickert and Marcus McCoy were the groomsmen. The couple’s sons, Brayden Mattie and Cameron Brickert, were the ring bearers.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held to celebrate the couple at the Delta Hotel by Marriott. Sarah and Nicholas are planning a future honeymoon to Hawaii. They will reside in Pleasant Prairie.
